- بالتماشي مع اللوائح الجديدة للبنك المركزي العراقي، توجب على البنك الوطني العراقي في العام 2016 القيام بزيادة رأسماله المدفوع من 50 مليار دينار عراقي إلى 250 مليار دينار عراقي.
- وحتى يتمكن من الامتثال إلى هذه المتطلبات، قام البنك بالتوجه إلى كابيتال للاستثمارات لتعمل كمستشار استراتيجي ومالي حصري له، وتدعم جهوده الرامية إلى الحصول على مستثمرين جدد.
نتائج
- بتوجيه ودعم استراتيجي من كابيتال للاستثمارات، تمكن البنك الوطني العراقي من زيادة رأسماله بما قيمته حوالي ال100 مليون دولار، ليصبح من أوائل البنوك التي تمتثل إلى المتطلبات التنظيمية الجديدة في العراق، وفي الوقت نفسه، حصل البنك على ثلاثة مستثمرين إقليميين جدد في المنطقة – شركة الاتصالات الفلسطينية بالتل وبنك القاهرة عمان ومجموعة الفرسان –ولقد قامت كابيتال للاستثمارات بالتدقيق في كل منها بعناية.
